  • Emergency Services

The Mastroianni Family Pediatric Emergency Department offers pediatric emergency services designated and specifically designed for emergency treatment of newborns, toddlers, adolescents and young adults up to age 18. Because this facility has the safety and comfortability for your child in mind, we specially train our nurses in caring for children, we offer an on-site Child Life Specialist to counsel your child in the physical and non-physical aspects of emergent medical care, and we offer a bilingual liaison to help pediatric doctors, patients, parents, and guardians all communicate at the highest level allowable.

  • General Surgery

This specialization refers to surgical mastery and understanding of the foundational systems of the human body, namely the abdominal contents, endocrine system, and epidermis. Although the term sounds broad and expansive, our pediatric surgeons fully understand the difficulties and stakes of treating each and every individual child. Our facilities are designed specifically for pediatric care, and our compassionate approach helps our little patients stay comfortable throughout their stay.

  • ENT Surgery

ENT Surgery refers to surgical diagnosis and treatment of conditions pertaining to the ears, nose, throat, head, and neck. If left untreated, conditions in these areas may contribute to permanent, lifelong disabilities, especially in young children. The specialists at Jupiter Medical Center understand the stakes in these procedures and want to use our specialized knowledge and experience to promote the well-being and functionality of every developing child.

  • Orthopedic Surgery

Orthopedic surgeries treat conditions related to the musculoskeletal system, helping muscles and bones function together in movement. The still-developing muscles and bones in pediatric patients make the right orthopedic care even more vital. We design our treatment to heal the immediate condition while ensuring healthy development in the future. From treating a trauma caused by a sports injury to correcting a congenital disorder, the pediatric surgical staff at Jupiter Medical Center will employ decades of experience and cutting-edge medicine to each orthopedic surgery.

  • Speech & Language Therapy

While speech and language pathologists work to correct speech and communication impediments, they also treat conditions that making feeding or swallowing difficult. The specialists at Jupiter Medical Center work with children from birth to 21 years old, individually analyze each child’s condition, and work to correct or improve ailments related speech or oral motor function.

  • Physical Therapy

Many factors may contribute to the need for physical therapy, including anything from a debilitating injury to a premature birth. Pediatric physical therapists work with patients to improve motor function and specialize in the development of young bones and muscles. Before treating a young patient, our team conducts a physical assessment to determine the level of deficiency and begins an individualized therapy treatment plan.

  • Imaging

Once we have individually strategized proper image testing for your child, we then proceed to utilize the most cutting edge innovations available, all while providing a safe and comfortable environment for your child. Our focus in providing safe and effective imaging for children has resulted in recognition by the American College of Radiology, naming ours an Image Gently facility. The imaging facilities at Jupiter Medical Center are designed with your child’s safety and relaxation as foremost priorities.

  • Child Life Specialists

Our child life specialist works on-site in our pediatric unit to help children through their time in the hospital. We know that children undergoing almost any level of medical treatment are often scared, confused, and angry. These specialists work to educate, counsel, and generally support your child through his or her visit, encouraging understanding and, ideally, even a faster recovery. From education to simple bedside manner, our child life specialists reduce anxiety and promote the well-being of your child.
